Studio Salford is an umbrella group consisting of four theatre companies- Swine Theatre, TSL Productions, Mediamedea and House of Orphans. We champion, promote and present new theatre of our own as well as inviting visiting companies. Our base is The King’s Arms, Bloom Street, Salford which is a real ale pub, arts hub, and award winning music and theatre venue.
Studio Salford has been established since 2004 and has been the recipient of the MEN Alpha Award, runs its own Studio Salford awards and has presented high quality theatre to great acclaim. Its members are volunteers and all teams- Front of House, Admin and Tech and the in house companies are cherry picked for their dedication to the arts in the North West.
